A short note about browser memory
Cookies are values stored by a browser for a website; other storage mechanisms can also remember preferences. That browser memory is distinct from a host keeping a record of a request. Disabling one does not necessarily prevent the other.
Nothing to remember for the reading itself
The notebook does not use application cookies or write local or session storage. It does not remember a language setting: selecting Arabic or English simply follows a different page address. There are no member sessions, saved itineraries or personalised advertisements to maintain.
Protection may have its own requirements
Cloudflare provides the connection-facing protection layer. Features enabled there can use security cookies when a request triggers them. For example, a challenge clearance mechanism may store a result; that is not evidence that every reader receives the same cookie. Current names and expiry behaviour are explained by Cloudflare’s documentation, not by a fixed cookie list invented for this publication.
Counting requests is not the same as placing cookies
The deployed site can receive a Cloudflare-added analytics beacon element. Our current Content Security Policy blocks its execution. Cloudflare describes its web analytics separately from its edge measurements in its analytics explanation. Even without a browser beacon, infrastructure may handle technical request data as described in the privacy notice.
Control rests in your browser
Use browser settings to review stored values, clear them or restrict their use. A blocked security mechanism may make an access check repeat or prevent a page from loading. There is no optional advertising or preference-cookie feature to accept on this version, and merely reading is not recorded as an affirmative opt-in.
After you follow a reference
The destination may offer different storage features and its own choices. This page makes no claim about cookies on an external service. If our own reading features change, the notice and any necessary choices must be revised. The privacy statement covers the broader information flow.
